Hearthside Family Health was founded by Siobhan Benham, APRN in 2017 as an innovative healthcare model that aims to directly connect patients with their healthcare provider and keep costs manageable. Dr. Golden joined the practice in 2019. Julie Hounchell, APRN will be joining us in August of 2025.

We've all worked in settings where office visits were too short, paperwork was too time-consuming and multiple layers of administrative staff could be a roadblock to patient access. We knew there must be something better! Direct Primary Care is it. Now we can take the TIME we need with patients, be available for COMMUNICATION that works well for patients and EVERYONE is happier with the outcomes.

Carrie graduated from UNECOM in southern Maine and trained in Reading, PA. She has been a Family Physician for more than 20 years and is passionate about caring for individuals of ALL ages. As a board-certified Family Physician, she is skilled in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, COPD, high blood pressure and asthma as well as acute illnesses such as infections and lacerations. As an Osteopathic Physician, Dr. Klonel is also trained in hands-on musculoskeletal treatment techniques called Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT), which can ease pain and restore proper function for various maladies. She offers OMT to her established patients ONLY.

Siobhan is a Family Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing since 2009. Prior to getting her APRN degree, she was a registered nurse for 7 years. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with her Bachelors in Science as well as her Masters in Science. She has practiced in Women's Health, Family Care, and Walk-in Care. Siobhan values the personal aspect of primary care and creating relationships to engage each patient to help attain and support health needs. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and received the 2021 NH Nurse Practitioner of the Year Award.
Peggy Abbott, APRN
Peggy Abbott, APRN
Peggy is board-certified as an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and has gained a wealth of experience over her 20-year career as a Nurse Practitioner. She is a founding partner of Comprehensive Collaborative Care which provides collaborative mental healthcare. She shares space in our office at 9 Vose Farm Rd and can be reached at 603-606-9357. Comprehensive Collaborative Care offers therapy and medication management services in Peterborough and Concord, NH. Peggy is NOT ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS as of July 2025.
